Trump Reappears With "News Conference" After "Where's Donald?" Twitter Taunts [COMMENTARY]

Donald Trump has been conspicuously absent from the campaign trail for the last few days, which led to "Where's Donald" trending on Twitter Wednesday as Vice President Kamala Harris and her new running mate, Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota, were greeted by over 50,000 enthusiastic supporters in Michigan.

It's safe to surmise that Trump and his remaining advisors are huddling at Mar-A-Lago and trying to figure out how to get through the next three months now that the former prosecutor is outpolling the convicted felon nationwide.

Trump has been fear-sharting all over his failing social media shell company app, Truth Social, ever since Walz was confirmed to be the vice presidential nominee, but he hasn't been seen publicly for the last few days.

When asked where his not-at-all scared running mate was, JD "Vladmir Futon" Vance said he was "busy."

Busy doing what, Hillbilly Effigy? Trump only has one rally on his schedule, in Montana. So is he "busy" crying over those poll numbers? Or how historically unpopular you are?

Donny Thin Skin can't stand to be losing like this so publicly, but even more, he can't stand being mocked now that the media is covering Kamala Harris way more. She's getting the lead stories on the news broadcasts, and so he has to pull focus with a press conference/invisible accordion performance at his own house because...why isn't he going anywhere, again?

Oh wait, no one will tell us, nevermind.

There are all kinds of questions he should--but won't--be asked at this "news conference" that will essentially be just another chance to violate his gag order six weeks ahead of being sentenced.

Trump also disappeared for 12 days immediately after his debate with President Joe Biden, only to emerge to have a rally...on his lawn.

Why doesn't Trump want to leave his safety bunker? It's unlikely we'll ever get that truth--or any other--as long as he's still allowed this kind of free platform to spread his lies.

Trump's conference started late and immediately went off the rails.
