WATCH: Harris/Walz Rally Moved to Larger Venue to Accommodate Massive Crowds

The brand new Harris/Walz campaign has hit the ground running in the midwest, with two rallies on Wednesday in Detroit, Michigan, and Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

The demand in Detroit was so overwhelming that the campaign had to move from its original venue to an airport hangar to accommodate the more than 50,000 people requesting tickets.

In Wisconsin, cars were lined up for miles at least three hours ahead of time.

Both Michigan and Wisconsin are critical battleground states, but judging from the reception, it may not be as tough of a fight as the "underdogs"--as Vice President Kamala Harris described herself and her running mate, Gov. Tim "Coach" Walz.

Local Democrats were on hand to meet the VP and her VP-to-be. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, the co-chair of the Harris/Walz campaign, was set to share the stage in Detroit. And in Eau Claire, the campaign was greeted by Wisconsin's Lt. Governor, Sara Rodriguez, as well as local Girl Scouts.

Trailing behind the Harris/Walz campaign--in more than one way--is Trump's historically unpopular running mate, JD "Vladimir Futon" Vance. It's unclear as to why Vance is campaigning in the same cities where Harris and Walz are. It's creepy weird stalker-y stuff.

President Joe Biden beat Trump in both states in 2020. But polls had showed him facing a close battle in Michigan before he dropped out of the race last month.

Kamala Harris is beating Trump in every poll nationwide, so there's every reason to be optimistic. Plus, the people are speaking very, very loudly.
