[COMMENTARY/WATCH] Trump Agrees to Sit for FBI "Victim" Interview

Donald Trump loves playing the victim along with rewriting his personal history, so it should be no surprise to learn that he's agreed to sit down with the FBI for a "victim interview" regarding the shooting incident at his Butler, PA, rally on July 13th.

There has already been a Congressional hearing to push out Secret Service director Kim Cheatle, and House Republicans are also now to discredit FBI Director Chris Wray's testimony that it was "unlikely" Trump was actually shot.

And while we've learned plenty about the 20-year-old registered Republican shooter, Thomas Crooks, there was never an official press conference regarding Trump's alleged injuries.

Trump was apparently transported via his motorcade to a local hospital and treated there, but no local physician either spoke to the press or released any statements with Trump's full medical assessment and prognosis.

The only "doctor" we've heard from is walking pharmacy Rep. Ronny "Dr. Feelgood" Johnson-Jackson, who once told the world with a straight face how healthy Trump was right before he almost died from COVID-19.

You'll forgive me for not trusting his take that "Trump took a bullet" for his country. The MAGA martyring they'd hoped for isn't happening, mostly thanks to the ridiculous MAGA Maxi Pad Trump insisted on wearing when the photo op suited him.

But now Trump can tell everyone he was a "victim" thanks to this "victim interview," even though it's just standard FBI protocol. Right now, they're standing by their statement from last Friday which stated Trump was "struck by a bullet or a fragment of one," but even that seems sus considering his ear is fully intact.

This image, first shared by the Associated Press, shows an entire ear. Former White House photographer Pete Souza lost his account for tweeting this photo, which led to more Twitter users sharing it.

The FBI still hasn't uncovered the motive for the shooting, but there's every reason to believe Trump will give them a newly-embellished story to throw them off of the idea that Trump himself helped plan the "assassination attempt" in an effort to gain sympathy and frame Democrats.

And we've all seen how that turned out.
