[BREAKING/COMMENTARY] House Republicans Bully Secret Service Director Into Resigning

A young white male Republican shot at Donald Trump at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th with MAGA's favorite weapon of choice.

Almost immediately, conspiracy theories began flying as to how 20-year-old Thomas Crooks was able to get onto a rooftop a mere 150 yards from the rally stage with an AR-15. Trump got himself a grift-worthy photo op, which was essentially undone as soon as he started showing up in public with that dumb MAGA Maxi Pad on his head.

The MSM has never demanded a full medical report from the doctor who allegedly examined Trump. All we got was a weak pile of MAGA word salad from Rep. Ronny "Dr. Feelgood" Johnson-Jackson, telling us more nothing.

House MAGA Republicans needed to quickly pivot from the facts to find a scapegoat, because they just couldn't accept yet another young white Christian conservative opening fire at a public event.

And boy, did they! It was the female Secret Service Director's fault that Thomas Crooks pulled that trigger, everyone. That's what they've decided, because scapegoating a woman is their favorite thing.

How could a woman have such an important job, House Republicans asked at a hastily-arranged hearing on Monday. They barraged Kim Cheatle with questions they'd never ask a man. They used her as a dumping ground for all of their sad white male loser feelings.

And now, Kim Cheatle has resigned. Are you happy now, losers? This still doesn't make Thomas Crooks NOT the shooter.

Cheatle announced her resignation Tuesday morning in an email to Secret Service employees, ABC News reports.

"The Secret Service's solemn mission is to protect our nation's leaders and financial infrastructure. On July 13th, we fell short on that mission," she wrote. "The scrutiny over the last week has been intense and will continue to remain as our operational tempo increases. As your Director, I take full responsibility for the security lapse."

She shouldn't have to. Because it was most likely all a MAGA setup from the start.

We probably will never get the actual truth of what happened in Butler on July 13th, but it's already backfiring on the target--pun intended--because walking around with a MAGA Maxi Pad on his head just made him look even more ridiculous.
