[COMMENTARY/WATCH]: What Actually Happened to Donald Trump's Ear?

It's been my experience that everything coming from Donald Trump and his emotional support sycophants is a lie.

So when Trump was shot at during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13th, my Spidey Sense immediately went into hyper-overdrive, because nothing about it added up to me.

I was once friendly with a retired Secret Service agent who served on Jimmy Carter's detail. While he never shared specific state secrets, I did learn about certain protocols when it comes to protecting the President in public spaces.

If there's even a perceived threat, the Secret Service will surround the President so that no one can even see them as they escort POTUS to safety.

When Donald Trump went down on that stage and was helped back up again, he could be heard saying, "Wait wait wait" and asked for his shoes.

He could also be seen, thanks to his detail propping him up to face the crowd, exposing him to further danger, just so he could raise that widdle fist and yell "Fight! Fight! Fight!"

This photo op should not exist.

While Trump has been claiming to have "taken a bullet" for his MAGA minions, medical experts and amateur sleuths have been raising doubts since the incident took place.

A bullet from an AR-15--the weapon used by 20-year-old Republican Thomas Crooks--would have shot Trump's ear off completely, even if he was just "grazed."

While Republicans have already pushed out Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle--scapegoating a woman for the failures of a man is fully on-brand for the MAGA cultists--they weren't having such an easy time with FBI Director Christopher Wray during his appearance before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday.

Suggestions that Trump's ear was "grazed" by a broken piece of TelePrompter have been rebuffed by his mouthpieces, but I'm more inclined to believe Chris Wray.

There was no official medical report released by the alleged medical staff who allegedly treated Trump at a nearby hospital. There was never a press conference held by an actual doctor to discuss Trump's injuries or prognosis.

There was never any attempt by the MSM to dig in any deeper because Joe Biden had an "uneven" debate performance, plus the MSM has given Trump a pass on essentially everything.

Trump took to his failing Truth Social app to blast Wray.

"No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel," Trump wrote, adding: "No wonder the once storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!"

Uh huh. See my opening line.

Rep. Ronny "Dr. Feelgood" Johnson-Jackson parroted Trump's lies on Twitter.

"There is absolutely no evidence that it was anything other than a bullet," tweeted Jackson. "Director Wray is wrong and inappropriate to suggest anything else."

Uh huh. See my opening line again. Then watch Lawrence O'Donnell back me up.
