[COMMENTARY/WATCH] GenZ Is Boosting the "Kamalove" On TikTok

It looks like #bratsummer will be extended until at least November, so this one is for all the MAGA Mean Girls.

If Black women are the backbone of the Kamala Harris for President campaign, then GenZ is the meme power-generator backing them up.

Those two demographics alone have taken over TikTok in the last week since the Vice President became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

The #Kamalove trend has taken off all over the app, along with the "Apple" dance.

And now the VP herself is on there as well, amassing 3 million followers in just two days.

"Memeability" is going to translate into "electability" for the first President who could be elected thanks to her rizz. No cap!

Listen to the experts on this. And by experts, I mean actual members of GenZ who understand this better than GenX ever will, probably. I only just found out that no one says "dank memes" anymore, thanks to my GenZ son.

VP Harris is starting to show up in videos made by celebs like Lance Bass.

BYE BYE BYE, I understood that reference!

Vice President Harris has essentially erased Donald Trump's lead in the polls, with 60% of GenZ choosing her over Trump. The VP's campaign has not only shattered fundraising records in one week--the total was over $200 million at press time--she raised more in three days than Trump did in the entire month of June.

Kamala's popularity with the coolest kids on the internet is already making an impact. You're going to see coconuts on couches and palm trees everywhere (caution to fellow white people and other non-POC who are also not GenZ: Black women would prefer you use the Lotus emoji instead, and we're following their lead).

Are you feeling So Julia? The #bratelection is underway.
