WATCH: Jan 6th Hero Blasts Trump's Awards Gala For Insurrectionists

A “J6 Awards Gala” organized by the pro-Trump non-profits The America Project and Stand in the Gap will be held at his Bedminster golf club in New Jersey on September 5th.

Ironically, that's the same day Trump has to appear in court for Judge Tanya Chutkan's status conference regarding the charges against him in relation to the January 6th Capitol riot.

While Trump's campaign claims he won't be in attendance, he's listed as one of the speakers along with his fellow criminally indicted former lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.

According to the event listing online, the event will raise money and pay tribute to "all J6 defendants who have shown incredible courage and sacrifice."

Trump has suggested that those convicted in the Capitol riots should be released. He has also played recordings from the "J6 Prison Choir" at his rallies, one of the few times his campaign hasn't been sued for playing a song. The fundraiser will also honor the choir's song "Justice for All."

Trump sycophants not on the guest list are trying to avoid the topic altogether. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) condemned the rioters but not Trump himself.

"I have no sympathy for those who broke into the Capitol, destroyed the place, and hurt police officers," Graham said on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday. When pressed on whether Trump should allow the event on his property, Graham responded "I'll leave it up to him as to what causes to support."

Former Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn, who was injured during the riots while fending off the MAGA rioters who attacked him, appeared on MSNBC on Monday to voice his disgust at the event and for Trump.
