Super Saturday: Kamala Vs Trump In Pennsylvania

Vice President Kamala Harris and convicted felon adjudicated rapist Donald Trump both traveled to the battleground state of Pennsylvania on Saturday to deliver their starkly different visions of America's future.

VP Harris was in the state to meet with voters at an Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote Presidential Town Hall.

Both campaigns were invited to participate in the town hall, but only the Biden-Harris campaign responded.

First Lady Dr. Jill Biden also made the trip to the Keystone State to stump for her husband, who delivered a fiery speech in Detroit Friday night, reigniting his voter base in a tide-turning moment.

Dr. Biden marked her third visit to Pittsburgh with a speech at an Italian Sons and Daughters dinner.

Both VP Harris and Dr. Biden were expected to highlight President Joe Biden's recently reinvigorated campaign. Since his press conference reaffirming his mastery of foreign policy, President Biden has seen a major boost in both voter support and donations.

In the week following The Debate That Didn't Move The Needle At All, the Biden campaign saw an influx of donations of over $38m, bringing June's total to a whopping $137m.

While both the VP and the First Lady will be welcomed by indoor crowds enjoying the A/C on a sweltering July afternoon, MAGA supporters were willfully broiling themselves in the state's Butler County.

One local paper covering the event quoted several Trump supporters who are still very much drinking the Kool-Aid--which they'll need out there since Trump is too cheap to even give the outdoor crowd any water.

One woman who had missed Trump's 2020 stop in Butler because of surgery said she wasn’t going to miss him this time.

“If anything happens to me [because of the heat], do not take me off these grounds,” she told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

But it's not a cult.
