[COMMENTARY] Celebs Flock to Fundraisers For Biden-Harris

All the cool kids want to hang out with Joe and Kamala!

Just days after it was announced that comedian David Letterman will be hosting a star-studded fundraiser for President Biden on Martha's Vineyard on July 29th, Vice President Kamala Harris touched down in Provincetown, Massachusetts, for a fete of her own on Saturday.

The event on Cape Cod follows the VP's appearance before a packed crowd in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Thursday.

The Vice President was greeted by Massachusetts Democrats Attorney General Andrea Campbell, Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, and Reps. Katherine Clark and Bill Keating.

Other prominent elected Democrats scheduled to rub elbows with Hollywood royalty are U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg--who just roasted VP Harris's opponent, Ohio Senator JD "Hillbilly Effigy" Vance on Bill Maher's show--- Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey, Sen. Ed Markey and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu.

The marquee names on the guest list at the event hosted by prominent Massachusetts-based planner Bryan Rafanelli include Jennifer Coolidge, Billy Porter, and Darren Criss, with  Broadway actress Adrienne Warren set to perform for the more than 800 attendees.

It was rumored that some tickets for "A Reception with Vice President Kamala Harris" sold for as high as $150,000, putting the event on track to raise just over a cool $2 million.

It's another excellent boost for the newly re-energized Biden-Harris campaign in the wake of a disastrous week for the Republicans after their convention devolved into a clown show with attendees emulating Donald Trump's "MAGA Maxi Pad" lewk.

The Vice President is getting the extra media attention she rightfully deserves this week, between the obvious fear from her opponent to debate her and President Joe Biden's break from the campaign trail due to a mild bout of COVID-19.
