During a Wednesday segment on MSNBC, co-host Willie Geist claims that Nikki Haley's recent comments about Donald Trump's campaign equate to her throwing up a red flag.
It is important for any political party to attempt to pull all their support together for national races. The Trump campaign has a massive problem with female voters, but still has made no attempt to incorporate Nikki Haley, who is popular with suburban women into the campaign.
Haley recently told Fox News that Trump's recent events have been too masculine. Hitting on her comments, Katty Kay said on Morning Joe today:
"Imagine if someone called your state or your hometown or your country and denigrated the way it was. I think the point she made saying this went too far, all they needed to do was apologize and say women are not liking what they are hearing; they're not liking this hyper-masculinity. Donald Trump is re-posting things on Truth Social saying manhood is under attack. Manhood is not under attack."
Willie Geist then weighed in, "I would submit that the Republican leaders who scurry behind Donald Trump calling themselves alpha, that is a definition of beta doing whatever you're told by another guy."
The co-host continued:
"Katty is so right. Nikki Haley said Donald Trump has not called me since June –– sort of like throwing up a red flag and saying, it's actually political malpractice. It's actually insane in races in some of these states that might be decided in four digits with thousands of votes not to court Nikki Haley's voters. But his ego is such that he can't bring himself to that."
