Morning Joe Panel Slams Faux Outrage Over Biden's 'Garbage' Comments

During their Wednesday broadcast, the hosts of Morning Joe mocked the fake outrage from the right over Joe Biden's comments about Trump's MSG rally.

While speaking with Latino voters on Tuesday, Joe Biden referenced comedian Tony Hinchcliffe's comments about Puerto Rico this weekend. He referred to the comic as a Trump supporters and called his comments garbage. MAGA world is now attempting to twist his words to say he called all of Trump's supporters garbage.

Jonathan Lemire said to open the statement, "The president said something and immediately tried to clarify it, Joe, but certainly a story on the right who are trying to paint this to be the next basket of deplorable."

Joe Scarborough weighed in, "Well, of course. Donald Trump says shocking things every day on Fox News and all of his apologists in the Republican Party immediately go to it and brush it off and explain it away or just completely ignore it."

The host continued by saying that Biden has proven that he cares for all people:

"Joe Biden obviously doesn't believe that. I forget what state it was in but it was during a hurricane –– after a hurricane I believe –– and Joe Biden went in and he went in and talked to the crowd. Went and talked to a big Trump supporter and joked with him and put the hat on him. And again, trying to bring people together and even saying, 'Hey, I'll wear your Trump cap. We are on the same team.' That is the type of leadership you want."
