WATCH: Trump Insiders Worried He Can't Compete With Kamala In Debate

It's one thing for his critics to believe Donald Trump can't beat Vice President Kamala Harris in a debate, but it's quite another when his closest advisors think so, too.

Now that Trump has agreed to the September 10th say-it-to-her-face-to-face debate--"if he shows up," the Harris-Walz campaign snarked in a press release--campaign insiders are said to be worried about his performance.

Based on the last month of terrible press, increasingly unhinged rallies and press conferences, and falling behind in the polls, Trump's mental state points to someone in denial of their own decline.

The convicted felon will be debating the former prosecutor just eight days before his sentencing on 34 felony charges. Prior to their meeting, Trump has two other scheduled court appearances back-to-back.

Trump's status conference with Judge Tanya Chutkan, originally scheduled for August 16th, was moved to September 5th as requested by Jack Smith. The next day, Trump has his rematch with E. Jean Carroll, because he just can't stop trying to defame the woman he sexually assaulted but claims he never met.

So, VP Harris has plenty to use against Trump just based on his rap sheet and court calendar. How can he possibly best her when she's a talented orator and he's been raving about Hannibal Lecter?

VP Harris will come prepared with facts. Trump will come with a chip on his shoulder and some empty bullying.

A panel discussion on MSNBC on Saturday touched on Trump's fear of debating VP Harris and his staff's ineptitude to keep his flailing campaign from floundering even further with a debate loss to the woman he can't stop making racist comments about.
