WATCH: Tim Walz Busts J.D. Vance for his 'Damning Non-Answer" [VIDEO]

Tim Walz was quick to pounce during last night's debate when J.D. Vance refused to say that Trump lost the 2020 election.

One of the most important questions in last night's debate didn't come until the event was almost over. J.D. Vance was asked about Donald Trump's refusal to accept the results of the 2020 election and if he thought that Trump actually lost the election.

Vance knows that Trump didn't win the election, but he also knows that he was made the running mate because he won't go against Trump. So he was caught between a rock and a hard place.

Walz turned to his opponent and asked, "This was a threat to our democracy in a way that we had not seen and it manifested itself because of Donald Trump's inability to say he is still saying he didn't lose the election. I would just ask that. Did he lose the 2020 election?"

Knowing that he couldn't do anything to upset Trump, Vance tried to change the subject saying, "Tim, I'm focused on the future. Did Kamala Harris censor Americans from speaking their mind in the wake of the 2020 COVID situation?"

Walz responded to Vance by saying, "That's a damning non-answer."
