During her Republican National Convention speech on Tuesday night, Sarah Huckabee Sanders joked about the First Lady, Jill Biden.
The daughter of the former Governor of Arkansas, Sarah Huckabee was born into privilege and has never been shy about using it. After Mike Huckabee endorsed him in 2016, Donald Trump made Huckabee Sanders his press secretary. She'd regularly refuse to answer questions from reporters.
Like her father, Huckabee Sanders would become the Governor of Arkansas. She's been embroiled in controversy from the start, using tax dollars to buy an outrageously priced lectern. And while Arkansas has some of the worst schools in the country, the Governor felt it was more important to ban critical race theory rather than do anything to help the low rated schools.
Sanders's nasty side was out during her speech last night. She told rally-goers, "When I was President Trump’s White House Press Secretary, I got the chance to take my 4-year-old son up to ‘Bring-Your-Kid-to-Work Day. Much like Jill now drags Joe to ‘Bring-Your-Husband-to-Work Day’"
Of course, Sanders also made plenty of claims with no evidence, at one point saying, "Under Trump, America was safer. The world was safer. It felt like the next generation would have a chance at the American Dream. President Trump did the job that Kamala won’t and Joe Biden simply can’t. Every American knows we were better off under President Trump…"
