Nicolle Wallace is a Republican capable of calling out other GOP members and does so regularly on her daily MSNBC show "Deadline: White House."
Wallace makes the distinction between the traditional conservatives in the party and the extreme right-wing MAGA faction that has pledged their loyalty to Donald Trump over the United States.
With Trump's increasingly violent rhetoric churning up his base, Wallace has been more vocally critical of the Republicans who look the other way when he goes off the rails, calling his campaign "bizarre and R-rated."
MAGA Republicans are now spinning Trump's recently revealed comments praising Hitler and slamming U.S. military generals for not being more like the Nazis when he was in the White House.
Wallace says that Trump's campaign is “waving a red flag in front of the country in these final days[of the election], saying, ‘Look how batshit crazy I can be.’”
Wallace urges Trump’s followers to realize how disturbing his antics have been in the homestretch against Vice President Kamala Harris. “He thinks you want to hear him weave, as he says, and talk about Arnold Palmer’s penis as a metaphor for his virility,” Wallace said on Tuesday's show.
“But, again, I was in a sorority, and the only men who ever talk about the size of anyone’s penis are the ones who are projecting some insecurity about their own. So here we are, and this is Donald Trump’s message to his base.”
Wallace dragged the "embarrassing" MAGA Republicans on Wednesday's show for continuing to support Trump even after the Hitler comments were shared.
