The Morning Joe panel ripped Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Wednesday after the Arkansas Governor mocked Kamala Harris for not having biological children.
Most people from Donald Trump's White House have moved onto Conservative news channels or faded into obscurity. Former press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was able to fail upwards and is now, like her father, the governor of Arkansas.
Huckabee Sanders also acts as a surrogate for Donald Trump's campaign and she said this week that Kamala Harris doesn't have children to keep her humble.
Playing a clip of the comments, Mika Brzezinski began, "What is their obsession with women without children of a biological connection? Kamala Harris is a stepmother of two children with her husband Doug Emhoff, Cole and Ella Emhoff. They call her ‘Mamala.’ They consider her as much of a mother as their own."
Joe Scarborough then asked:
"They are playing for a very small subset that relishes the cruelty. First of all, it’s [worth] adding Sarah Huckabee Sanders still can’t pronounce Kamala Harris’s name correctly. That’s the first thing. For the other… You want to make them the other? Continue to mispronounce their name that everybody seems to do on Fox News, when they know. It’s Kamala."
The host continued, "But I’ve just got to say politically, there are a lot more people who have blended families, a lot more people who understand what Kamala Harris and Doug are doing. There are a lot more people who understand, again, blended families than people who are just self-righteous and mean and hateful."
