WATCH: Morning Joe Lays Out Rough Wednesday for Joe Biden and Where Dems Go From Here

During Thursday's episode of Morning Joe, the panel discussed the rough days that President Joe Biden is currently encountering.

It has been a dizzying couple of weeks since the debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, and much of the news has been bad for the Democrats. After fending off calls to step down as the candidate, the White House revealed on Wednesday that the President had contracted COVID-19.

Morning Joe has given Biden regular support since the debate, but it may be time for him to drop out, according to Joe Scarborough. The host told viewers:

"Two-thirds of Democrats want Joe Biden out of the race," Scarborough said. "That's not the elites, that's the heart and soul of the Democratic Party. There's no way a candidate can win a general election if two-thirds of his own people say he needs to withdraw. I think those are backwards. Two-thirds actually want him out. So you add all this up."

Scarborough continued, "You then hear about, not infighting inside the Biden campaign, but just a sadness, an understanding that they cannot win with a man that they respect and love. They're basically waiting for orders. Who are they going to help beat Donald Trump? So all of that, all of that happened yesterday, along with so much more."
