Mika Brzezinski tore into Donald Trump during Friday morning's broadcast of Morning Joe, referring to the former President as an against BS artist.
Donald Trump's team is trying to protect him from himself, only allowing him to speak with friendly sources or at rallies. But the 45th President keeps humiliating himself. Yesterday featured a podcast appearance where the hosts openly laughed at him and an event in Detroit where he slammed the Michigan city.
Brzezinski told viewers, "He was bashing Detroit to Detroit. I don't think he knew he was doing that. That's another issue – like, what? I don't think he knows what he is talking about. If he did, you wouldn't, would you, insult a city to the city?"
The host continued, "I mean, I wouldn't even call that the weave. I would not grace that with the phrase word salad. That just made no sense, and I just don't understand anybody right now who could watch him talk and say, 'Yeah, he definitely makes more sense than the alternative.'"
Brzezinski closed:
"He's getting through the moment as an aging bulls--- artist, okay? He is just getting through the moment, insulting Detroit to its face, and you're right, there is racism in there. There is always a tinge of racism in everything he says."
