In a promotion for her upcoming book, Melania Trump claimed that she was proud of working as a nude model in the past.
Conservative media often gushes about Melania Trump's past work, often referring to her as a supermodel. The issue is that a quick perusal of her past work sure reveals an awful lot of racy and nude pictures.
Of course, appearing in the nude was her choice and not one that most Liberals would make a big deal of. Things are different in Conservative circles and it seems to have bothered the former First Lady enough that she feels the need to hit back at her "critics."
Responding to no one in particular, Trump posted a video to her social media where she said, "Why do I stand proudly behind my nude modeling work? The more pressing question is why has the media chosen to scrutinize my celebration of the human form in a fashion photo shoot?"
The video continues, "Are we no longer able to appreciate the beauty of the human body? Throughout history, master artists have revered the human shape."
A link then gets to the true reason behind the video, she is shilling for her new book. The post closes with her saying, "We should honor our bodies, and embrace the timeless tradition of using art as a powerful means of self expression."
These are generally Liberal talking points, so it is unclear who she is attacking in her post.
