WATCH: Melania Says Her Husband Isn't a Threat to Democracy

Melania Trump made a rare media appearance on Tuesday talking to Maria Bartiromo and claiming that her husband has been unfairly targeted.

Melania Trump is heard from less than any First Lady in recent memory, Donald Trump's wife, though, has a book to sell and she is willing to answer some questions if it makes her some money.

Leading her guest on, host Jeanine Pirro asked

"I have so many questions, but I will start with one that is clearly serious. The former president has survived two assassination attempts. And Kamala's camp just issued yesterday that they are going to go more negative. The Biden-Harris team continues with the negative rhetoric, whether it's 'Hitler' or he's 'tearing down democracy.' Are you worried about your husband's safety in the next 29 days?"

"Of course, I do," said Trump. "When they call him a threat to democracy, let's ask ourselves, who is really a threat to democracy? They're ongoing with lawfare against the former president, as well as trying to get him off the voting ballot, and trying to silence him."

The former First Lady continued, "Yes, of course, I was always afraid of what could happen. Continuing with that kind of language, it is toxic, a toxic atmosphere."
