WATCH: Jimmy Kimmel Mercilessly Mocks JD Vance's Donut Shop Cringefest

Historically unpopular GOP Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance has become a favorite target for late-night talk show hosts and online influencers alike.

Vance's many cringe-worthy public appearances have gone viral thanks to his inability to relate or speak to everyday people like most regular humans.

Aside from not being able to answer basic questions about the 2020 election and his affinity for eyeliner and couches, Vance's biggest moment in the campaign has to be the awkward donut shop encounter where it was glaringly obvious he'd never eaten a donut or purchased an item over a counter from a working person.

It was this viral moment that inspired Jimmy Kimmel and his genius writing staff to come up with one of the funniest political parodies in recent memory. Actor Haley Joel Osment (yes, the cute little Forrest Gump Jr who saw dead people in "The Sixth Sense) does a spot-on impression of the awkwardness that Vance brings to even the most mundane of human tasks.

"The mainstream media? They want you to think that I'm weird," Osment says as Vance at the beginning of the segment. "They call me creepy, cringy, awkward — that I give people something called 'the ick.' They want you to think that I can't order a simple doornut — donut! S---! But that's ridiculous, follow me!"

After saying nothing for several seconds, Osment's Vance declares, "Donut" with no elaboration. "Which donut, though?" the cashier asks. "Uh, just whatever makes sense," Osment responds, quoting Vance's actual puzzling order from the real video. "No pickles, hold the pickles," he protests.
