WATCH: Harris Campaign Joins Election Officials in Condemning Trump's Threats

Every accusation is a confession from Donald Trump, so he was talking about himself when he warned Saturday that he would try to imprison anyone "corrupt" who engages in "unscrupulous behavior" during this year's race.

Did they remove all of the mirrors from Mar-a-Lago?

He issued the threat on his failing Truth Social app, repeating his tired false claims that the 2020 election was stolen for the eleven hundred billionth time, accusing Democrats of "rampant Cheating and Skullduggery."

Who talks like that? Also, what's with the random capitalization, Paw Paw?

“The 2024 Election, where Votes have just started being cast, will be under the closest professional scrutiny and, WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long-term prison sentences so that this Depravity of Justice does not happen again," he wrote.

On Monday, the Harris/Walz campaign joined with election officials to condemn Trump's threats.

Amman Moussa, a Harris spokesperson, called Trump's comments "extreme and unhinged," adding: "Donald Trump is further ratcheting up his dangerous threats of revenge and retribution."

Adrian Fontes, a Democrat and the secretary of state in the battleground state of Arizona, described Trump's post on his Truth Social account as "tyrannical" and said it had the potential to incite political violence.

"Sadly, security is now one of the main considerations in election administration," Fontes, the top election official in Arizona, told Reuters.

"Trump's comments give the potential for bad actors to take them as a call to arms. We need to protect our election officials and our poll workers. We need to be prepared for just about anything."
