WATCH: Harris and Walz Follow Up Georgia Bus Tour By Focusing on Reproductive Rights

Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov Tim Walz’s campaign is launching a “Reproductive Freedom Bus Tour” next week, as the team looks to build on the momentum they created throughout South Georgia last week.

The first official stop on the national tour will be Tuesday in Florida, with an event near Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach.

“Our campaign is hitting the road to meet voters in their communities, underscore the stakes of this election for reproductive freedom, and present them with the Harris-Walz ticket’s vision to move our country forward, which stands in stark contrast to Donald Trump’s plans to drag us back,” said Harris-Walz Campaign Manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez in a press statement. “As we crisscross the country, we’ll be driving that contrast home to red and blue voters and independents.”

Trump has recently given his usual mixed signals regarding Florida's restrictive 6-week abortion ban. After first claiming to support the Florida law being overturned, Trump is now saying he supports the ban and would sign a national abortion ban as well.

Prominent local and Congressional Democrats will meet the tour at every stop, beginning with Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar on Tuesday in Florida. The tour heads to Jacksonville on Wednesday, with state Sen. Tracie Davis set to speak. The tour returns to Savannah, Georgia, on Thursday, and I'm guessing the Vice President will want to hit Dottie's again for another slice of that chocolate caramel cake.

The 50-stop tour will travel across the country ahead of the November election.
