WATCH: GOP Pundit Says Joe Rogan Audience is Key to Trump’s Victory

During a panel discussion on CNN Monday night, GOP strategist Scott Jennings noted that that the recent endorsements of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard will help endear Donald Trump to the Joe Rogan audience he feels is a key to a Republican victory.

When Robert F. Kennedy Jr. ended his campaign for President, he reached out to both Kamala Harris and Trump offering his backing in exchange for a cabinet post. The Harris team wanted no part of the toxic conspiracy theory, but Trump jumped at the chance to bring him on. Against the wishes of his family and his wife, RFK Jr. has offered Trump his complete endorsement.

Jennings believes this is important get for Trump, telling host Abby Phillip and the panel:

“His ticket to victory are these low propensity male, working-class male voters - the Joe Rogan audience. And, you know, sneer at them at your own peril because if they get excited about RFK or if they think it’s, you know, he says, ‘Trump’s okay, we’re gonna turn out and vote,’ that’s how Trump changes the composition of the electorate through that kind of voter.”

The pundit continued by claiming, “Well, they have built a campaign of people who deeply, deeply, deeply distrust institutions, government and sort of the Washington eltes. That is the ethos of his campaign.”

Jennings may be excited about the RFK Jr. announcement, but it doesn’t hold much weight anymore. Many of his supporters have already flocked to Kamala Harris and many of the rest of the small percentage of voters could just decide to stay home.
