You can add another influential name to the ever-growing list of Republicans putting country over party by endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris: Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The former California Governor and ex-husband of Kennedy family member Maria Shriver wrote a lengthy post on his Twitter account on Wednesday explaining his reasons to vote for the Democratic presidential nominee, albeit reluctantly as he says he's "not happy" with either major political party at the moment.
"We need to close the door on this chapter of American history, and I know that [Trump] won’t do that," he wrote. "He will divide, he will insult, he will find new ways to be more un-American than he already has been, and we, the people, will get nothing but more anger."
"That’s enough reason for me to share my vote with all of you," Schwarzenegger concluded. "I want to move forward as a country, and even though I have plenty of disagreements with their platform, I think the only way to do that is with Harris and Walz. Vote this week. Turn the page and put this junk behind us."
Arnold's endorsement, which comes a day after Gary Reed's, the former director of the Michigan GOP, was getting mixed reactions, from former GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger replying "Well said" to others openly disagreeing with him.
As those endorsements keep coming in just six days before Election Day, Vice President Harris simply has more support from Republicans than their own nominee.
Trump has been slipping both mentally and in the polls. But the real tell that Trump is losing support is the disparity in fundraising.
The Harris/Walz campaign has now raised a record $2.5b--yes, that's BILLION--while the Trump/Vance campaign brought in a paltry $15 million in October.
