WATCH: DNC Preview Indicates It'll Be the Most-Watched Convention Ever

If you're not in Chicago, be prepared for some major DNC FOMO over the next week.

The Democratic National Convention kicks off on Monday, and there's every indication the energy behind this year's gathering will spill over into ratings gold.

Chicago is expecting 50,000 total visitors for the convention, including 5,000 delegates and alternates and 15,000 members of the media, including yours truly, who scored guest credentials from DNC Chair Jaime Harrison late on Friday.

The DNC will be streamed live on various platforms, and promises to be the most-watched political convention in history.

President Joe Biden will address the DNC, and therefore the nation and the world at large, on Monday night.

Former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton are on the schedule, as is former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. They'll be joined by Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson.

While the exact schedule hasn't been announced, the convention will be capped with the official nomination of Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota. Women who are planning to attend will be wearing white to mark the auspicious occasion, a call back to when they showed up in the same way for Hillary Clinton's nomination.

During the days, the DNC will be filled with opportunities for content creators and others to mingle with Democrats and delegates, such as "Dempalooza," a series of trainings, panels, and events.

Plenty of celebrities will also be flocking to the Windy City to party with the cool kids. Confirmed headliners include John Legend, Jon Stewart, Billy Porter, Joan Jett, Octavia Spencer, DJ D-Nice, Lil Jon, and the stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

I'll do my best to keep up with all the action!
