It's become clear that Donald Trump and JD "Hillybilly Effigy" Vance are already doing what they can to spur their base to make sure they can implement Project2025 on Day One of their promised dictatorship.
But Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), who's already tangled with Heritage Foundation-backed bills in her state, says they've already started.
"That's how we ended up with these abortion bans," Rep. Crockett told MSNBC host Charles Coleman Jr., who was filling in for Ali Velshi. "They called it the Heartbeat Bill."
The Texas Congresswoman pulled no punches when it came to explaining what's at stake this November.
"This is what people need to understand," Rep. Crockett said emphatically. "If you like the direction this country has been going as it relates to our Supreme Court that has eviscerated our Constitution...and wants to bow down to Donald Trump like Aileen Cannon did, as if they're serving him..."
Calling their take "pseudo-Christianity," Rep. Crockett explained that they're going to expect all Americans to "believe in the same God" in the same way they do.
She also reiterated the most obvious concern that most Americans share regardless of party affiliation: a lawless Trump imbued with unchecked immunity and power, could bring about a complete change to the America voters grew up in.
"The last nail in the coffin is Trump getting into the Presidency. Who's going to check him?" Rep. Crockett said.
David Pepper, the former chairman of the Ohio Democratic Party, was also on the panel and spoke about the threat of Scaredypants Vance getting the chance to implement Project2025.
