Donald Trump spent the better part of his appearance at an airport named for Arnold Palmer in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, on Saturday talking about the legendary golfer's...9 Wood.
Trump just couldn't stop himself from telling a long and unusually detailed story of Palmer in a golf club shower impressing the other men there thanks to being very well-endowed.
MAGA Republicans have already been scrambling to spin Trump's obvious mental decline, along with his age and myriad legal issues, but this latest embarrassment goes beyond the usual "That's just Trump" take when they need to admit that he's in a serious decline.
House Speaker Mike Johnson, who notoriously keeps a "porn accountability" tracker app on his phone, as does his teenage son, was visibly uncomfortable on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday morning when host Jake Tapper tried to get an answer regarding Trump's fixation on Arnold Palmer's...Johnson.
“I’m sure that you think that a policy debate would be better than a personality debate," Tapper said to the squirming Speaker, who was wearing an ill-fitting jacket that looked like it was borrowed from Trump. "But if President Biden had gone on stage and spoke about the size of a pro golfer’s penis, I think you would be on this show right now saying you were shocked and appalled and you would suggest it was evidence of his cognitive decline."
The word "penis," which Tapper repeated more than once, clearly triggered Johnson who snapped at the host, "Don't say it again! We don’t have to say it. I get it."
Twitter was having a proper Sunday Funday at the Speaker's expense.
