WATCH: Chris Hayes Shares SuperCut Of Trump's Cognitive Decline

Donald Trump's nonsensical answer to a question regarding childcare at the Economic Club of New York Thursday has gone viral as an example of his obvious cognitive decline.

At 78, Trump is now the oldest presidential candidate in history, and he's been forced to acknowledge his unhinged unintelligible word salad rants at his rallies, referring to them as a "deliberate strategy" to keep the "fake news" corporate media guessing.

While the media jumped on any verbal misstep from President Joe Biden, who overcame a childhood stutter and still occasionally struggles, they've consistently given Trump a pass when it comes to his ramblings.

However, it's impossible to ignore how Trump demonstrated his full lack of understanding about *checks notes* everything after being asked about his plan to lower the cost of childcare.

The transcript of Trump's non-answer has also gone viral, because when you see it written out, it's fully incomprehensible.

Hearing it in a voice other than Trump's also makes it clear that nothing in his "answer" was an answer.

He always sounds like the kid who didn't write his term paper and makes it up as he reads it to the class.

Trump's historically unpopular running mate, JD Vance, also had a terrible response to the childcare question, but at least all of his words in a row created actual sentences.

Trump also went off on a bizarre rant at a press conference on Friday after his rematch in court with E. Jean Carroll.

Corporate media has finally started covering Trump's decline. MSNBC's Chris Hayes put together a supercut of Trump's most recent servings of word salad as he "struggles to stick to reality-based arguments."
