The Biden Boom is real, and it's spectacular.
The American economy has now surpassed all other countries under the Biden administration, which lifted the United States out of Donald Trump's pandemic depression and set economic records under a historical job growth rate.
The US economy expanded by 2.8% in the third quarter as consumers spent more and the government ramped up defense spending. Consumer spending was up by 3.7%, the most since early 2023.
Democrats have always had to clean up the financial messes made by Republicans, but the Biden/Harris administration also faced the Herculean task of undoing all of the damage done by Donald and his cronies during his lone term.
President Biden has been nicknamed "Joey Jobs" for the historic job creation along with the economic boost, with the unemployment rate decreasing as the job numbers have set records every month since January 2021.
Vice President Kamala Harris has proposed an economic plan to boost the middle class, increase tax cuts for first-time homebuyers, and provide more startup funds for new businesses. Donald Trump's "concepts of a plan" would include massive increases in tariffs that would cost the average family an additional $4000 - $6000 per year, with Social Security funds running out in six years or less.
The record economic growth combined with an increased job force puts America far ahead of its global competitors, which is why the Trump campaign is falsely claiming the Biden administration has tanked the economy. Despite inheriting a booming economy from Barack Obama, inflation was a record-high 6.7% when Trump left office. On Thursday, it was a record-low 2.4%.
