Vivek Ramaswamy Says He Could Do Something Substantial in Ohio or in Trump's Administration

While speaking with Outkick pundit Tyrus, Vivek Ramaswamy talked about his political future saying he could run for office in Ohio or serve in Donald Trump's cabinet.

Pretty much unknown before this year's primary, Vivek Ramaswamy is one of the few people in the GOP who looks to have a political future. The former businessman has decided to tie himself to Donald Trump and hopes that the toadyism he's displayed over the last year will pay off in the future.

Ramaswamy grew up in Ohio and currently lives there with his family. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is a Republican but term limits will prevent him from running again in 2026. When asked about his future, Ramaswamy told Tyrus:

"Governor is something that people are pushing me for a lot in Ohio, and how could I not consider it? But also, there’s JD Vance, a Senate seat that’s now open in my home state in Ohio, and I think that’s something that a lot of people have really pushed me to consider."

There is also the chance that Ramawamy is paid off for his loyalty to Donald Trump. He continued, "And President Trump and I have had great conversations about doing something substantial, not small, but maybe a couple roles that could be really big roles in the Cabinet of the new administration."
