Trump Shooter Identified as 20 Year-Old Registered Republican

Overnight, the FBI revealed the identity of the man who attempted to shoot Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday as 20 year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Internet sleuths quickly went to work on Crooks online presence and it was revealed that the local man is a registered Republican living in the Pittsburgh area.

Images of Crooks both after the shooting appeared online as well. In the pictures, the shooter is seen wearing a Demolition Ranch shirt. Demolition Ranch is a popular pro-gun channel.

The FBI's Kevin Rojek said in a statement about the incident, "We do not currently have an identified motive, although our investigators are working tirelessly to attempt to identify what that motive was."

Last night Trump took to Truth Social to write:

"I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania. Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured. It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country.."
