Trump: Reagan Was My Favorite President 'When I Was Little'

During a recent spot on Fox News, Donald Trump claimed that he admired the presidency of Ronald Reagan, 'when he was little.'

Donald Trump is very old. The GOP is trying to hide the fact that he is just a few years older than Joe Biden, who stepped down over concerns about his age. And despite Trump's reputed exhaustion, the Republicans want people to think about anything else.

Still, Trump will try to convince voters that his age isn't a problem. And he attempted to do so by telling a story about his youth. It just so happened that the story happened decades after his youth.

During a spot on Fox & Friends Friday morning, Trump took questions from viewers, and a young man asked, "President Trump, I’m Daniel, and I’m 10, and I’m from Tennessee. What was your favorite president when you were little?”

"So, I liked Ronald Reagan," Trump responded. "I thought he was– look, I didn’t love his trade policy. I’m a very good trade– I’ve made some great trade deals for us."

Trump went on to say weird things about other Presidents, saying, "Lincoln was probably a great president. Although, I’ve always said, why wasn’t that settled? You know? I’m a guy that– it doesn’t make sense. We had a Civil War."
