After being absent from the campaign trail for quite some time, Melania Trump will reportedly take part in the upcoming Republican National Convention.
It has always been clear that Melania and Donald Trump do not have a typical marriage. Pushed into the spotlight, Melania suffered from accusations of plagiarism and mockery of her charitable initiative, Be Best.
Not much has been seen of the former First Lady since her husband left office. While the 45th President has been campaigning for years, his wife is almost never by his side. Melania also failed to show up when Trump faced multiple trials in New York. Of course, it is understandable that she didn't want to relive any of the memories those case dredge up.
Still, Melania will reportedly finally join her husband in Denver. CNN's Alayna Treene tweeted, "Scoop: Melania Trump is planning to attend the RNC convention in Milwaukee next week, making a rare public appearance alongside her husband on the campaign trail, two sources familiar with the plans tell me."
The reporter also noted that exactly what role Melania would perform was not quite determined, "discussions regarding whether or not she will speak on stage or be a formal part of the program are still underway, they say."
