Spokesperson: Trump Campaign is Doing More For Hurricane Victims Than The White House

During a recent spot on Real America's Voice, Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt claimed that her candidate is doing more for the victims of Hurricane Helene than the federal government is.

Desperate for any momentum with the election looming, Donald Trump and those in Conservative media have decided that lying about the federal government's response to Hurricane Helene is the best way to do so. And while the Governors in the states hit hardest by the storm note that the White House has been completely on top of the situation.

Karoline Leavitt told the station, "As President Trump has expressed, we care most about lives and helping American lives if we can, not so much about votes. And that's why President Trump has done so much, even not being in the White House, to help our fellow Americans."

The spokesperson then brought up a GoFundMe page started by the campaign, saying, "We have directed all of that money, it is going to be going towards nonprofits on the ground who are delivering disaster assistance and relief. And we're really showing up when the federal government is not."

Leavitt closed by claiming "President Trump is doing more than Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, who spent a billion dollars from FEMA on illegal immigrant housing, transportation, prepaid debit cards and food."
