Politico Insider: I've Seen Other Iowa Polls Like the J. Ann Selzer Poll [VIDEO]

During an appearance on MSNBC Monday morning, Politico scribe Jonathan Martin said that he has seen other polling that shows similar results to Ann Selzer's shock Iowa poll. 

The poll from Selzer that was released this weekend showed Kamala Harris leading the red state by 3 points. Republicans quickly moved to publish polls that show Trump leading and claiming that the findings were an outlier. 

Martin, though, says that there is another poll like Selzers. He said this morning: 

"I think Trump has been stung in the closing weeks of the campaign less about anything he did as president, with the exception of the three judges he put on the court that overturned Roe, but his conduct now. It's hard to imagine what Trump would do differently if he was trying to lose the race in the final two weeks here. He has said and done so many inflammatory things that are uniquely alienating for the voters he needs, namely women in the political center. He is alienating them every day."

The Politico writer closed: 

"Final point on the Iowa question. I've heard of other private polling in Iowa that shows a number that's not terribly far away from what Selzer had, in part because the abortion ban has just gone in effect in that state, and I think that is animating women had Iowa. The question is, will that extend to Wisconsin and Michigan, states not far away. Those Iowa numbers I think are not that far off from where the race is going to land.
