During a conversation with Sean Hannity on Thursday night, Newt Gingrich and the host whined about a new ad encouraging women to vote for Kamala Harris even if their husband was voting for Donald Trump.

A Democratic-aligned group recently released an ad encouraging women to vote for their conscience even if their husband is voting for Donald Trump. The spot is hitting a little too close to home for Republican men like Sean Nannity and Newt Gingrich who want their wives to obey them.
After playing the ad, which was narrated by Julia Roberts, Hannity whined, "Really? I’m gonna look for what manliness looks like, to George Clooney? A Hollywood jackass spoiled elitist? No thank you. He’s no John Wayne."
Gingrich followed, "These people are dishonest. And so, for them to tell people to lie is just one further example of the depth of their corruption. I mean, how do you run a country where you’re walking around saying, ‘Wives should lie to their husbands, husbands should lie to their wives’"
The former Georgia congressman continued:
“Instead of having a dignity and patriotism and a sense of morality, these are really sick people, And the more you watch them, to say, ‘Oh, why don’t you lie to your husband?’ as a publicly advocated ad? That is sick! And I think we ought to have the courage to say this is a sick, dishonest party.”
