Donald Trump spent years being protected from the law while he occupied the White House. However, since he has been out, the former president has faced cases in multiple states. His current case is taking place in his hometown of New York City.
As a result, all media eyes are on Trump, making him seem like an animal in the zoo. He doesn't enjoy people looking at him. Last night, the 45th President lashed out at MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell, and the news anchor replied via Twitter.
O'Donnell first saw Trump in court last week and told his viewers, "It seems Donald Trump wasn't really pleased to see me. I have my interpretation of what Donald Trump’s face and eyes were trying to say to me, and what drove him to create a final moment in the courtroom today that was worthy of New York Times reporting."
Trump was angry to see O'Donnell again on Tuesday and wrote on Truth Social, "I spotted Ratings Challenged Lawrence O'Donnell, of MSDNC, in the Courthouse today. I haven't seen him in years. He looked like s---, a real loser."
O'Donnell responded to Trump's slams on Twitter, simply writing, "Trump posted this right after my show tonight. Must’ve been something I said."
