This has been quite the year for Taylor Swift. The singer went on an impossibly successful world tour that made her the most famous person on the planet. She is also in a high-profile relationship with football star Travis Kelce. And just this week, Swift was named the Person of the Year by Time Magazine.
That is not good news for Conservatives. Swift has become more openly political and she's pretty clearly a Democrat. She backed the Tennessee senatorial candidate Phil Bredesen in 2018. And in 2020, she announced online that she was backing presidential candidate Joe Biden.
The Time Magazine Person of the Year has also mattered a lot to Donald Trump, though he frequently refers to it as Man of the Year. And the news of Swift's win clearly angered Conservatives.
Stephen Miller was up first, tweeting, "What’s happening with Taylor Swift is not organic." This is certainly something Miller will tell his boss Donald Trump when the former President complains that he wasn't named by Time.
Tim Pool also weighed in, writing, "trump supporters attacking Taylor swift is the psyop. they want maga influencers to start bashing her so she gets pushed full dem." As noted earlier, Swift has openly supported Democratic candidates. She already seems to have gone "full dem."
