Kevin McCarthy Hopes Matt Gaetz's Accusers 'Get Justice They Deserve'

After Matt Gaetz's odd day yesterday, fellow Republican Kevin McCarthy said that he hopes Gaetz gets help, and so do his victims.

McCarthy and Gaetz have been feuding for quite some time. Yesterday on the RNC floor, the Florida Rep. mocked the former Speaker, saying, "Hey Kevin, what night are you speaking," and, "if you took that stage, you would be booed off it."

The former Speaker later said that Gaetz does not like him because he wouldn't use his power to get an investigation into the Florida Rep. dismissed.

Gaetz did speak at the Republican National Convention last night, but it wasn't his words that saw him go viral last night. Many on social media commentated on the appearance of the Republicans face, claiming that he had undergone botox or filler treatment.

When McCarthy was asked about how things were going for his rival on Thursday, he was more than happy to tear into him. The California Rep. told CNN:

"He looks very unhinged. A lot of people have concerns about him, and I'm not sure if he was on something. But I do hope that he gets the help that he needs. More importantly, I hope the young women get the justice they deserve when it comes to him."
