During a recent spot on CNN, Democratic strategist James Carville said that Melania Trump is intentionally making things difficult for her husband, Donald.
You don't hear much from Melania Trump, but when you do, it is clear that she is just as hateful as her husband. That made it somewhat surprising this week when the former First Lady came out strong on behalf of abortion rights.
In an excerpt from her new book, Melania Trump writes:
"Individual freedom is a fundamental principle that I safeguard. Without a doubt, there is no room for compromise when it comes to this essential right that all women possess from birth, individual freedom. What does my body, my choice really mean?"
When asked about those comments by CNN, Carvile responded, "I think you have an entirely wrong interpretation about what Mrs. Trump did. I think she can't stand him and I think it was very intentional. Not only does she put out about how pro-choice she was she also put out how pro-immigrant."
The pundit continued, "But again, the rule of the commentariat is every piece of information must be interpreted in the most negative light to the Democrats. I think the interpretation that she's doing this help to him [Trump] politically is entirely wrong. I think she's trying to cause him all the misery and anxiety that she possibly can."
