GOP Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine Responds to the 33 Bomb Threats Made Against Springfield Schools

Ohio's Republican Governor, Mike DeWine announced on Monday that he would be sending additional resources to Springfield after the town received 33 different bomb threats.

This weekend, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance had the chance to tell the truth about the stories being spread about Springfield, Ohio. Instead, he decided to double-down on his conspiracy theories and amazingly, he continues to put his own constituents in danger.

There have been school and hospital closings in the town due to dozens of bomb threats. Governor Mike DeWine, a Republican like Vance and Donald Trump, talked about the threats being made against the town.

DeWine told reporters that there had been "at least 33 separate bomb threats, each one of which has been responded to and each one of whom has been found to be a hoax. So 33 threats, 33 hoaxes, I will make that very, very clear. None of these had any validity at all."

The Ohio Governor continued by saying

"I want to say to the parents in Springfield, these hoaxes of these, these threats have all been hoaxes, none of them have panned out. We have people unfortunately overseas who are taking these actions. Some of them are coming from one particular country. We think that this is you know, one more opportunity to mess with the United States and they're, they're continuing to do that."

DeWine closed his press conference by noting, "We cannot let the bad guys win. Our schools must remain open."
