[COMMENTARY/WATCH] Scaramucci Says Donald Trump's Campaign is "Flailing"

If anyone knows about failing miserably in public, it's former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci.

The Mooch (as I like to call him) lasted a whopping ten days in the role, solidifying himself as an internet meme. When something or someone doesn't last as long as they were expected to, someone might say, "That guy lasted half a Scaramucci."

Yes, the man has become a unit of time measurement. These are the times we live in.

The Mooch was on CNN on Thursday to talk about Donald Trump's epically unpopular VP pick, JD "Hillbilly Effigy" Vance. It's already been reported that Trump is regretting his choice, with Vance getting extra bad press and backlash at the moment for a comment he made during a July 2021 interview with Tucker Carlson.

"We are effectively run in this country … by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made, and so they wanna make the rest of the country miserable, too," Vance told Carlson. "It's just a basic fact. You look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez), the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children."

Vice President Kamala Harris is a stepmother to her husband Doug Emhoff's two children from his first marriage. "Momala" doesn't seem to count in TrumpWorld, but thanks to those comments, there's now a whole viral "Childless Cat Ladies" movement raising money for Kamala Harris.

Trump hates anyone who outshines him, which Vance is doing at the moment.

"What made Vice President Mike Pence successful as a vice presidential candidate is he understood Trump's personality," said Scaramucci.

Which is another way of saying that Mike Pence has the personality of a two-by-four.

Vance doesn't understand his place, said Scaramucci. "He thinks he's actually a vice presidential candidate, but he's a deep subordinate to Donald Trump. And you just watch how this plays out."
