In an exclusive for People Magazine, George W. Bush's daughter, Barbara Pierce Bush, announced that she was campaigning for and supporting Kamala Harris.

It has always been clear that the Bush political family has mostly been against Donald Trump, with no endorsements in any of his three presidential races. Still, George W. and Jeb Bush have been criticized for refusing to speak publicly against the dangerous and divisive candidate.
Barbara Pierce Bush, one of the former President's two daughters, has a lot more courage than the males in her family. The activist revealed that she is backing the Democratic candidate, issuing a statement that read:
"It was inspiring to join friends and meet voters with the Harris-Walz campaign in Pennsylvania this weekend. I’m hopeful they'll move our country forward and protect women’s rights."
This isn't the first time Pierce Bush has spoken out politically. She backed Planned Parenthood at a 2017 event, saying, "I am proud to stand with Planned Parenthood not only because women, regardless of where they are from, deserve to live dignified, healthy lives, [but] … because it’s a really good investment. We know that when women are healthy, their families and their children are healthier, too."
George W. and Jeb Bush still have a week to come out against Donald Trump, but it is not likely that either man will do so.
