Jennifer Aniston took to Instagram this week to blast Republican Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance over his comments about childless women.
Since being named Donald Trump's running mate, the Ohio Senator has been a disaster for the GOP. While he has had many embarrassing moments, the one that has stuck most are his comments during an appearance with Tucker Carlson in 2021.
Vance said at the time, "It’s just a basic fact — you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC — the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. And how does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?"
Aniston shared a clip of Vance making the comments on her Instagram feed and wrote, "I can't believe that this is coming from a potential VP of the United States."
The former Friends star continued, "all I can say is… Mr Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too."
Donald Trump is obsessed with celebrity and will obviously be very upset with his VP. The comments, though, were made before Trump ever picked his running mate and it shows that the campaign's vetting process was deeply flawed.
