With more and more incredible inventions and discoveries being made every day, it’s hard to parse through what you need and what’s just a gimmick. Though some inventions may seem like frivolous purchases, others are so profoundly amazing that they make you ask yourself how you’ve been living without it all these years. Number Twenty: LED Traffic Lights. Why sit and stare at boring old regular traffic lights when you can look at beautiful LED traffic lights that tell you just how long you’ll be stuck waiting there? LED traffic lights are shaped like an hourglass, and people looking at them will be able to tell how long they’ll sit there before the light turns green. Therefore, they create fewer accidents and less stress!
Number Nineteen: Ironing Board Mirror. The ironing board mirror is exactly what it sounds like – an ironing board that doubles as a mirror. When you’re done ironing your shirt on one side, just flip the board over and stand it up so you can check yourself out in that freshly ironed shirt!
Number Eighteen: Rotating Park Bench. Rather than ruin a perfectly good jacket or newspaper by laying it on a wet bench so you can sit, the rotating park bench allows people to crank the underside of the bench around to the top for a dry and clean service. Avoid pigeon poop and mysterious wet spots by rotating the top around to the bottom.
Number Seventeen: Word Search Universal Wrapping Paper. Instead of buying themed wrapping paper you can’t use all year long, just buy the universal word search wrapping paper! The word search on the paper includes just about every important event that requires presents, so the only thing you have to do is circle the event, and you’re all set!
Number Sixteen: Cup Holder Umbrella. Holding an umbrella is hard enough on a rainy morning, but holding your umbrella and your morning latte? Next to impossible. The cup holder umbrella solves this problem by including a hole at the end of the umbrella that fits perfectly over a cup of coffee. So, by holding your coffee, you’re holding your umbrella too!
Number Fifteen: Tube Squeezers. Squeezing out that last bit of toothpaste is really annoying. Skip the squeezing with a tube squeezer, which attaches to a tube of toothpaste and slowly squeezes everything out so you don’t have to.
