In this video created by MODE Glam, one model is subjected to 100 years of fashion, from 1915 to 2015. For the viewer, all of this happens in two minutes, thanks to the increased camera speed. From flapper to demure, from boho to grunge, nothing is off limits in this portrayal of just how ridiculous the evolution of fashion trends can be. What’s also interesting is the reappearance of certain trends. For instance, the flower crowns and loose, flowing tops spotted so prolifically at music festivals today are entirely reminiscent of the 1970s, and it’s no secret that 1990s grunge is making a comeback.
