Sean Spicer was Donald Trump’s first press secretary. And on his first day on the job, Spicer humiliated himself by lying about Trump’s inauguration crowd size. All these years later, Spicer is still lying for his former boss.
The now Newsmax pundit appeared on Real Time With Bill Maher this weekend. The host called Spicer out for his refusal to admit that Trump lost the 2020 election.
Maher asked, “What about (the theory that) the election was rigged and Trump really won? Is that lunacy?” Spicer responded, “I think there are some serious problems with the election,” Spicer responded, before claiming that several states illegally “changed the rules.”
The host countered the misdirection, noting, “I think there are some serious problems with the election,” Spicer responded, before claiming that several states illegally “changed the rules.”
After some back and forth, Maher continued, “You’re afraid of Trump. Yes, you are. This is all about, you work in the conservative sphere of media. If you say what I want you to say, what I think you truly believe, you won’t get your job, Trump will start attacking you. It’s bullsh*t, Sean. You know it’s bulllsh*t.”
