The Virginia governors race is deeply important to both Republicans and Democrats. And Democrats have been breaking out the big guns. Over the last week, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Keisha Lance Bottoms and Stacey Abrams have all stumped for Terry McAuliffe.

The Republicans, though, have yet to break out their biggest gun. Glenn Youngkin, the GOP candidate, doesn’t seem to want anything to do with the former president. And while Trump has yet to publicly talk about the snub, it is easy to assume that it is bothering him.
During a Tuesday speech, Joe Biden hit his former opponent over the snub. And Biden even did a little bit of goading, hoping for Trump to more deeply involve himself in the race.
While speaking to reporters, the president noted, “Terry’s opponent has made all of his private pledges of loyalty to Donald Trump. And what’s really interesting to me: He won’t stand next to Donald Trump now that the campaign’s on! Think about it! He won’t allow Donald Trump to campaign for him in this state.”
Biden continued, “He’s willing to pledge his loyalty to Trump in private, why not in public? What’s he trying to hide? Is there a problem with Trump being here? Is he embarrassed?”
