Nervous And Sweating
After she had driven for about 60 minutes, a loud alarm pierced through the air. She could see the vivid blue and red lights coming closer. Her insides felt like a boulder had just dropped inside of her as she eased the car to a stop and parked it on the side of the street.
He stopped her for an unknown reason and she became anxious, thinking of many possible explanations. However, she was thankful she had her camera with her when something happened.
Expect The Unexpected
When Sasha entered her vehicle that morning, she did not anticipate that she would be detained by the police.
She realized that it had been a difficult year, and if anything else went awry she would go crazy. Consequently, when the patrol car initiated its warning while tracking her, she knew it was the end for her.
A Struggle
Sasha Jackson was on her way to a job interview when the Atlanta police halted her. She was attempting to juggle being an unemployed single mother and a student.
For Sasha, things had not been simple. However, as the planet went into quarantine, everything became more difficult, pushing her down a direction she had never expected to take.
A Paradise Like No Other
Sasha had a lot going on in her life; she was a bank teller, a graduate student at the nearby college and a mom to a lively eight-year-old, Jordan.
She was content with the way her life was going until she lost her job and was unable to go out even though she had a kid to support and education loans to pay off.

For months, she searched for employment. After her rent was overdue, her landlord barred access to her residence, something she never imagined would take place. Consequently, she and Jordan had to stay with her mom.

The Interview
The job interview was planned for the following week, but it suddenly arrived before Sasha had time to react.
She woke up early on that morning, took a bath, and put on her clothes. After having breakfast with her mom and her small boy Jordan, she said goodbye to them and rushed away. Before long, the cops would be after her.
Leaving Early
Sasha had been behind the wheel for almost 60 minutes while tuning in to her favored inspirational podcast to encourage her for the meeting.
The highway was vacant, and she realized she could arrive at the media outlet before her appointment. However, an unforeseen event occurred as she drove through a green signal in a distant suburb.
Blue And Red Lights
The bright blue and red light illuminated her rearview mirror as she drove down the street. Initially, she assumed the police car was chasing another vehicle, however, she soon noticed she was the only one on the road.
The cruiser's alert pierced the air, causing Sasha to cry out in shock. Her body filled with dread and her palms began to sweat. She pulled her car to the edge of the road and watched a cop get out of the cruiser. The only thing that could help her now was a miracle.
Road Rules
Sasha had always been a safe driver. She never disregarded traffic signals or violated any other regulations of the road. So why was the policeman pulling her over?
She stretched out her hand to grab her driver's license and car registration, and took her national identification card as back up in case the policeman wanted to see it. Her hand was shaking as she switched off her car engine when the policeman came up to her window, which had been tinted.
Hot Seat
Sasha, feeling the warmth of the chair, thought back to when her relative, Darrel, had borrowed her vehicle a few months ago. Darrel had a reputation for finding himself in trouble with the authorities.
The most recent incident he was involved in was with Sasha's vehicle. Naturally, Sasha scolded him for borrowing the car without her approval. She also attempted to explain to him the importance of altering his behavior.
Her Cousin
Darrel was very headstrong. His language was coarse, yet he believed it was okay to take things that weren't his.
Sasha's mom and aunts had to come together and use their money to help her out of the difficult situation that her last venture had gotten her into. Was it just a coincidence that the policeman was standing by her car, or was it because her cousin had borrowed it?
Slow Seconds
Sasha was rigidly still as the time ticked by, every moment feeling like an age. She observed as the policeman moved nearer, his equipment belt shining in the dawn illumination.
He had pulled his hat firmly onto his head, the brim covering most of his face, including his eyes. He walked with a sense of power. It was clear: Sasha was not going to make it to her appointment today.

The interview was Sasha's only hope to get out of her difficult situation. She couldn't believe her luck and was already envisioning how she could make her and her son's lives better with the wages she would receive.

The officer softly knocked on the window, yet Sasha could feel the power behind it. She inhaled deeply and lowered her window. "Good morning miss," the officer said with a grin. Sasha felt a sense of comfort, though she stayed vigilant.
She nervously smiled and gave her paperwork to the police. However, what they said next left her even more puzzled.
Suspense And Anxiety
The police officer instructed Sasha not to bother fetching anything, and then he moved away from the window and went to the back of her vehicle.
After looking at the car that was stopped for a short time, the policeman went back to his police car to make a call. Then he came back to Sasha's window. Sasha was scared of what was taking place.
He Tells Her Why
He flashed a grin at Sasha and said, "You're probably curious about why I pulled you over. It's because your brake lights aren't functioning.
Sasha felt her stomach drop. She had never been in this situation before and was used to making sure her car was in proper working order. But as she considered the repercussions, her fear transitioned into hot anger.
Fear And Anger
Sasha's worrying transformed into rage as she recalled that she had just examined her car a month before. She had changed the brake lights, and the organization that took care of the car had charged her $600 for the task.
Sasha spoke rapidly to the police officer, telling them how she had to take money from her savings to make sure her car was in good condition to stop this from happening again. But she didn't just stop there.

Without a vehicle and with almost no money, Amina had to travel to work each morning and evening by foot.
She expressed that when she spoke about it, it felt uncomfortable. Yet, it was tranquil and unencumbered. The atmosphere was fresh and the dawn or dusk was captivating. She didn't want to give that up for anything else.

Amina revealed that taking a stroll had assisted in her regaining her figure. She was in the best of health with a vigor that she was unaware she was capable of possessing.

It Happens
On a bright morning, Amina heard a police vehicle coming up behind her. She whirled around to see the patrol car following her while she held her bag close to her body.

The police officer inquired if Amina was okay with being given a lift. He explained that he was aware of her job location and his car was heading in that direction. Did she agree to accompany him in his patrol vehicle?
Amina agreed to the idea of journeying to her job in a cop car. She took a seat in the vehicle, and in no time they were off. Her life was about to be transformed.
Getting Her To Work
The officer drove Amina to her place of work and when he had her there, he inquired if she would like a lift back in the evening. Amina graciously said no, expressing that even though she liked the thought, she wanted to benefit from the physical activity and the open air.
The officer refused to give in, but he was unable to break through Amina's stubbornness. He said farewell and hoped she would have a pleasant day. However, that was not the final time he planned to speak with her.
He's Back
Amina resumed her everyday activities. However, two days afterward, a police officer arrived at her shop. After a brief conversation, he told Amina that he was moving to another state.
He presented her with a special parting present - an electric bike. He was wishing that she could use it for her journeys. "You can get some fresh air and exercise all at once!" he mentioned.
